You could go outside. Stick your face in the April sunshine, watch a seagull peck at a bin in the park, do the awkward no-after-you dance with a fellow human being on a narrow pavement. On that television this spring in the UK, there’s plenty to enjoy, not least Seven Kings Must Die, the feature-length movie continuation of The Last Kingdom story. Wednesdays mean the return of The Mandalorian and third series of sweet-natured football comedy Ted Lasso, while Fridays are all about the second series of flashback-wilderness-murder-mystery Yellowjackets, now airing on Paramount+ in the UK.
