After this Saturday’s top-secret Doctor Who episode, we have one final 60th anniversary special starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate, joined this time by Neil Patrick Harris ahead of Ncuti Gatwa’s first adventure on Christmas Day. And speaking of festive specials, there’s one last visit to Button House for the cast of BBC comedy Ghosts to look out for on December 25. The new series of Sky’s mind-bending sci-fi The Lazarus Project is also waiting for you on Sky Max, with all episodes available to stream on NOW.
All that, plus the return of excellent spy thriller Slow Horses on Apple TV+, BBC Suranne Jones-starring thriller Vigil, and all of the rest of this year’s Christmas TV. Shetland is also nearing its conclusion on BBC One this Wednesday night, with Ashley Jensen finishing up her first series in the lead role.
